Allie Williams Bio 

Pastor Allie Williams was born and raised in North Central Kansas and is a lifelong 

United Methodist. Pastor Allie graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor’s in Art 

History and a minor in Philosophy. Later, she earned a law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. After a few years practicing at Legal Aid of Western Missouri, helping low-income and elderly clients stay in their homes, she transitioned into ministry. Currently, 

Pastor Allie is enrolled at St. Paul’s School of Theology and is working to obtain a Master of Divinity, which will position her for ordination in the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church. 

Allie has been doing ministry for almost 16 years, with positions ranging from a District Superintendent Assignment in Kansas to the Director of Children, Youth & Family ministries, and since 2023, she has practiced as a Licensed Local Pastor at Okemos Community Church. Most recently, Pastor Allie has specialized in Pastoral Care and is deeply committed to helping people maintain their connection to the church as they age. She is also passionate about providing care and support to those who are grieving and dealing with health and life challenges. Other areas of ministry that Pastor Allie has embraced in her career are working with children and youth and engaging in missional work in the community, assisting those in need. 

Pastor Allie and her husband, David, have a wonderful blended family. They have two adult children: Tucker, who lives in Detroit, and Jackson and his wife, Katelyn, who live in Salina, Kansas. They are still actively parenting their two youngest children: Iris, a junior at Haslett High School, and their youngest son, Bryn, a 7th grader at Haslett Middle School. 

While Pastor Allie’s husband is a Michigander and an MSU graduate, she is enjoying her status as a transplant and learning about all that the great state of Michigan has to offer. She enjoys nature walks, visiting art museums, and attending community events. Pastor Allie and her husband, David, are avid fans of their children’s activities and sports, and they proudly support them in all their endeavors. Finally, Pastor Allie is an enthusiastic cat mom to her two beloved rescue cats, Karl and Moses. 

Pastor Allie and her family look forward to getting to know everyone at Gunnisonville and Bath UMC and building deep and lasting relationships with these congregations. 

Additionally, Pastor Allie is excited that God has led her to this new opportunity to build upon the faith communities of these two congregations, so they can continue to spread the Gospel message of hope, grace, and the love of Jesus Christ well into the future.
